Woo, boy.

You know, I mentioned before that the dreams I had early on in this pregnancy were downright whimsical.  Well, there seems to be a hormonal shift happening and that’s all changing.

Now I’m finding that I wake up feeling like I haven’t slept because I wake up during the night to end nightmares.  I won’t elaborate much because they’re basically about the worst thing a pregnant woman could dream about.  I wake up clutching my belly and poking myself to make the baby move.

July 2nd can’t come soon enough.

I remember having some doozies. The dreams were so VIVID! I’m so sorry you’re having bad or scary ones. Mine were weird or stressful or disturbingly sensual, but I don’t remember any nightmares - probably blocked them out. It’s a small price to pay for such a cool payoff. I won’t tell you not to worry, because that would be dismissive. However, do try to keep optimistic. Bake something yummy and indulge. BTW, July 2nd is a lucky date! My boys were born, big and healthy on that day! Good luck!

Yeah- I remember one about my husband and a Salma Hayek look-alike.  He wasn’t happy to find himself being beat about the head at 3am.

I remember the terrible nightmares, too.  If I could get those thoughts out of my head and down on paper I could be rich like Stephen King.

Oy, the PG nightmares are anything but PG.  If only there were an app on the Iphone that would allow you to just download them and send them to Hollywood…oh, the millions you’d make.  In the meantime, hope they go away soon and that you can start dreaming about daisies, chocolate and pink stuff (not Pepto, other pink stuff).
